Opened in 2001, the Scotsman is Edinburgh's highest-rated, full-service hotel, bringing 21st century efficiency together with traditional comforts and Scottish hospitality.
56 bedrooms and 13 suites are finished to the highest of standards, where every last detail has been subtly included. Each room has been designed for comfort and convenience, from the discreet privacy hatches (to prevent room service intrusions) and luxurious bathrooms, to state-of-the-art entertainment systems and handmade beds.
The Scotsman Leisure Club features a health club and spa. A 16 metre stainless steel pool set into a slate surround introduces guests to Edinburgh's finest facility. The spa area offers what seem like a million ways to relax and refresh body, mind and spirit.
The Scotsman offers the North Bridge Brasserie, where you can enjoy a light bite to eat, or a delicious dinner with a menu sourced from great Scottish produce.

This is our second room category. All rooms are spacious with queen-size double beds and power shower. State of the Art in room facilities including a printer and Edinburgh Monopoly Set.
Our suite has a king-size bed and all the in-room facilities of a deluxe room with the added advantage of a lounge/dining area. Publisher suites combine timeless elegance with contemporary design in a very spacious and comfortable luxurious suite.
With an average size of 28 square metres, these rooms offer a Standard Double bed. Views ranging from Calton Hill, The Old Town and internal to the building as a quieter alternative.
The Scotsman Hotel is situated on Edinburgh's historic North Bridge, one minute's stroll from both Princes Street and the Royal Mile. It is also conveniently located next to Waverley Railway Station also one minute's walk away.
